While most probably say this with the utmost sincerity – as do we! – The Vested Group has given a lot of thought to our differentiator and we are able to be a little more precise. Internally, we refer to The Vested Group as TVG and we’ve discovered what makes our people different is something we refer to as TVGenius.

What is TVGenius?

That unique set of superpowers each one of us has that make us brilliant or amazing. Sometimes this is easy to identify like coding skills or an uncanny encyclopedic knowledge of saved search wildcards, and sometimes more elusive like being able to diffuse a tense interaction merely by your tone of voice.
That spark or flash of inspiration that pops up unintentionally and inexplicably wows everyone on your project team and beyond and consistently underscores who you are and why you fit in at The Vested Group so well.
The only accurate answer to: where did he learn that? …how’d she come up with that? …when did you find that? …how did he know that? …how did she do that? It’s that cool thing you do that can’t be learned or taught but just is.

What is your work superpower? I love to organize anything that I can get my hands on. Organization takes a very high priority in my life, whether it’s my desk, or the way I set up my lunch.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? I haven’t worked on too many projects, so at this point, I think they’re all fascinating!
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? Have your dog within arm’s length for some moral and emotional support.
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? Appreciate that Failure is Learning – there is always something to improve upon, especially in the life of a developer! Each project is a chance to learn from previous problems I’ve had and apply it to my next project.
Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group? I haven’t been around a better group of people. The work-ethic is second-to-none, and the voluntary helpfulness of everyone creates such a great group to have as a partner.

What is your NetSuite superpower? I enjoy surprising clients with unexpected or unknown possibilities in NetSuite.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? I worked on highly custom reports and processes for a media advertising company to track their cash flow.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? Having RingCentral “touch up my appearance.” It’s a virtual shave.

What is your superpower? My tenacity and determination that allows me to continue to push forward in the face of adversity and achieve goals/solve problems.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? The most interesting project I worked on was a full-stack ride-sharing application that myself and 5 other engineers developed in a week and a half. The most interesting part was the technical design of the app’s functionality and database schema.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? My favorite remote work hack is sweatpants!! Stay comfy all day, every day!
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? All In: I believe that in all aspects of life, you should always give your best and devote yourself 100% to accomplishing your goals.

What is your NetSuite superpower? Hmmm...I can type really fast and I can integrate Oracle SQL-based formulas to your saved searches. And yes, that's the geek in me talking.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? Finance Industry building an integration with a media company for corporate profile check, I learned how much a single data element can say.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? Combined home and work To-Do lists, built the previous night and a bowl with the snacks for the day behind the laptop.
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? ALL IN: Every single person brings 110% to everything they do daily, be it for a client or for the team itself.

What is your NetSuite superpower? I’m extremely fast at scripting and can deliver solutions in a fast turnaround.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? Manufacturing Client where the project was 2000+ hours, so the complexity of it made it an extremely interesting project.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? If you get stuck or in a bad spot, get up and hang out with your pet or do some hobby around the house to clear your brain.
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? Enjoy the Ride - Life isn’t just about work. Working with a bunch of people that make it feel more like a hobby as opposed to a job is a huge advantage. Working at The Vested Group makes it feel like we are enjoying the ride.
Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group? The people at The Vested Group see their clients as friends/family as opposed to dollar signs. We truly care about the success of the client’s business and want to see their growth as opposed to just getting in there to complete a job and get out.

What is your NetSuite superpower? Map/reduce scripts. I love figuring out how to design these to handle atypical business processes.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? Children's toy manufacturer. Anytime I see one of their products, I think my script told them where to find the product inventory.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? If I'm on a call that doesn't require being at my computer, I like to walk while I talk.
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? Always Do The Right Thing: True character is doing the right thing when no one is watching.

What is your NetSuite superpower? Telekinesis – I make it do what I want.
What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why? Mobile app development for a hospice equipment rental company. We built an iPhone app integrated with NetSuite for delivery of rental equipment.
What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? Blocking my calendar to avoid getting called into impromptu meetings so I can focus on other things that need to get done.
Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? Own It: I'm not big on excuses or people deflecting responsibility and I appreciate self sufficiency.
